      <image:caption>Anderson Ramos Anderson Ramos completed his PhD in Immunology from the University of Sao Paulo in 2014 on the Immunomodulation of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis by the extract of the salivary glands of Aedes aegypti. He went on to do a Post doc in the Karolinksa Institutet on the Mechanism of insulin secretion in beta cells. He is currently a research fellow in the Nordlund lab at Karolinksa Institutet and working on using CETSA to study drug engagement and the different aspects of virus infection.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Reto Rufener Reto Rufener received his PhD in Molecular Life Sciences in 2020 from the University of Bern in Switzerland. Before he joined the CETSA group in Stockholm, he was a scientist in the field of molecular parasitology. Within the scope of his previous work, he investigated the mode of action of various drugs and was developing new chemotherapeutic treatment options against infectious diseases targeting the energy metabolism. In his current project, he employs CETSA to describe the mechanism of action of new anti-cancer drugs within the cellular context. Moreover, he is developing a particular drug screening assay based on the findings of previous CETSA studies.</image:caption>

He is currently working with Dr. Pär Nordlund at Karolinska Institute, Sweden as a postdoc employing Cellular Thermal Shift Assay (CETSA) method to demonstrate ligand-protein interactions and cancer drug-target engagements in intact living cells.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Nayana Prabhu Nayana Prabhu obtained her Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Bangalore University, India. She spent three years working in the R&amp;D sector in the Biotech industry in India. Soon after, she worked in the Animal Biotechnology laboratory at Temasek Lifeciences Laboratory, Singapore, studying H5N1 influenza viruses. Nayana then joined the Immunology Program at the National University of Singapore to undertake a PhD in Immunology. Her interest in drug discovery drew her to the CETSA approach to study target engagement in the laboratory of Prof. Par Nordlund at Nanyang Technological University. Nayana now leads the MS-CETSA team at IMCB.</image:caption>

She then received her MSc studies in Life Science at Gachon University (Korea) in 2015 and graduated with a PhD degree from National University of Singapore in 2021. During her PhD study, she focused on how to apply Pt-based chemo-agents to stimulate anticancer immune responses using macrophage model. She then has joined Par Nordlund’s group as a research fellow at IMCB, A-STAR where she can broaden her knowledge and experience with MS-CETSA.</image:caption>

Her work focussed on chemotherapy-induced immunogenic cell death as well as the effect of chemotherapy on the anti-tumour immune response in multiple myeloma patients. She then joined Par Nordlund’s group as a postdoctoral fellow at the Karolinska Institute Stockholm where she acquired her mass spectrometry (MS) skills and expertise in cellular thermal shift assay (CETSA). In 2020 she transferred to IMCB where she is currently working.</image:caption>

Before joining the CETSA team, she was involved in the study of methylated genes in colorectal cancer with the use of droplet digital PCR. For her honours project, she performed the isolation and characterization of bacteriophages targeting Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Currently, she is a research officer in the Nordlund group where she is involved in the study of drug-target engagement using the MS-CETSA approach.</image:caption>
